The challenge
The Antrim Coast Half Marathon first approached Wurkhouse to develop their brand with a logo redesign and the creation of new brand guidelines ahead of their 2023 event. After the success of the brand refresh the relationship continued to help promote and drive entries to the 2023 half marathon.
To help with the promotion of the event Wurkhouse took over the management and content creation for the Antrim Coast Half Marathon social channels. Wurkhouse created graphics for posts that showcased what makes the Antrim Coast Half Marathon special whilst communicating a clear message to drive sign ups.
As the Antrim Coast Half Marathon expanded, Wurkhouse also developed the brand for the Antrim Coast Half Marathon’s latest event the Belfast 5k & Mile. This involved Wurkhouse creating a new brand and website for these races.
The solution
Wurkhouse looked to promote the areas that made the Antrim Coast Half Marathon unique. Therefore, building a communications strategy around the flat & fast route, the scenic course and World Athletics Elite race status. This gave Wurkhouse clear pillars to build content around to help showcase the event and drive sign ups to the race.
Developing clear brand guidelines ensured all comms were aligned; meaning assets ranging from promotional flyers to the race t-shirts were consistent and showcased the brand in the best possible way.
